Dead body discovered at desk by Wells Fargo employee goes unreported for four days.

Four days after the employee of Wells Fargo punched in, her body was discovered at her workstation. Nobody had noticed that she hadn’t punched out or gone missing. Other workers detected an unpleasant odor in the space, but they said it was most likely the result of broken plumbing.

Everyone has been taken aback by the case, and many are wondering how an employee could have passed away at work without anyone knowing. Comments criticizing the corporation for being unaware of it are all over social media.

Sixty-year-old Denise Prudhomme was employed at the corporate headquarters of American financial services in Tempe, Arizona. She reported for duty on Friday, August 16 at 7 a.m. She was discovered dead in her cubicle by the police on Tuesday, August 20, at 4:55 p.m.

Nothing from the preliminary inquiry suggested foul play. The employer claimed that the worker was overlooked over the weekend since her workstation was in a relatively “underpopulated area,” as reported by USA Today.

The Wells Fargo office located in the 1100 block of West Washington Street made a call to the Tempe police. When they suspected one of the employees was dead, the security crew called.

Although the cause of her death is yet unknown, the authorities do not believe foul play was involved.
