Meet our team:

Identity Engineering team is responsible for providing the Identity Access Management capabilities for PayPal Inc users and partners (Includes Venmo, Xoom & other products). We design, develop, enhance services that get called across every interaction between PayPal and its users and partners. Our solutions need to scale across billions of such interactions, working with petabyte plus data, integrating with various other APIs in real time and yet providing high availability and configurability to the business. To achieve this, we are always looking at advances in technology and science and tying those back to business needs.

We are looking for a rockstar engineer to spearhead our Identity Platform. As a senior member of the team, you will architect and implement robust solutions to the complex problems. Your day to day:

In this role, the individual will be part of the engineering team in the Enterprise Privacy Organisation and will be responsible for

  • Developing across the full stack of web technologies – Availability, Persistence, Services, Platform, Performances and Scalability.
  • Designing and implementing Software that is simple, intuitive and easy to use with platform development mindset to solve privacy platform problems.
  • Proactively anticipating problems and keeping the team and management informed in a timely manner.
  • Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, user flows and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Work collaboratively with other designers, product managers, engineers.

What do you need to bring:

  • Must have around 7+ years of experience in developing full stack web application. The technology stack for relevant experience should be as follows – ReactJS, NodeJS, Redux, GraphQL.
  • Rapid prototyping of experimental features supported by appealing and user-centered design using Figma, Adobe XD.
  • Creating and testing features for usability and making changes where necessary, taking an iterative, agile approach
  • Familiarity with shell scripting, python programming, Cloud & DB concepts.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, ability to engage diverse group of stakeholders and drive long running programs with far reaching changes
  • Strong ability to organize & coordinate activities across geographically spread teams and ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
