As a Product Management Intern at Rapido, you will work closely with experienced product leaders to design and develop user-friendly features that enhance our platform. This role is ideal for individuals with a knack for problem-solving, a deep understanding of user needs, and a passion for product management. Whether you’re a recent graduate from engineering, humanities, or design, an internship alumnus transitioning to product management, or a professional pivoting from fields like tech, data, or design, this internship offers a platform to grow, learn, and contribute to impactful projects in a high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership
Under the guidance of senior product managers (Level 7 or above), you will take ownership of a specific segment of the product lifecycle. This includes contributing to the development of new features that align with Rapido’s vision of accessible and efficient mobility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to bring these features to life, ensuring they meet user expectations and business objectives.
Product Sense
You will develop a deep understanding of user needs by asking insightful questions and building empathy for diverse user segments. Your role will involve active participation in the product creation process, from ideation to implementation. You will assist in drafting Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) with senior team members and contribute to shaping the product roadmap by providing valuable insights and ideas.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Data is at the heart of Rapido’s product decisions. You will conduct basic data analysis to uncover insights that inform feature development and improvements. By learning and utilizing data analysis tools, you will evaluate feature performance and user engagement. You will also gain exposure to key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on them to support Rapido’s data-driven culture.
Execution
You will manage the end-to-end execution of assigned features, from conceptualization to launch. This includes coordinating with teams to ensure smooth implementation and supporting internal and external marketing efforts for successful feature rollouts. You will proactively identify risks, communicate challenges, and provide updates to stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Management
Working in an agile Product Development (POD) team, you will communicate updates, challenges, and successes effectively. By adhering to Rapido’s best practices, you will foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of features and alignment with project goals.
