The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organization in India responsible for recruiting staff for various ministries, departments, and subordinate offices of the government. It operates as an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and comprises a chairman, two members, and a secretary-cum-controller of examinations, with the latter holding a post equivalent to that of an additional secretary to the government of India. Notably, the SSC has expanded its Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff examination to include 13 Indian languages in addition to Hindi and English, reflecting its commitment to linguistic diversity. SSC JE Recruitment 2024
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the SSC JE 2024 Notification PDF on March 28, 2024, available at ssc.gov.in. This notification aims to fill 968 Junior Engineer positions in Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines across various Organizations/Offices of the Government of India. Interested candidates with a Diploma or BE/B. Tech in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical disciplines can apply for the SSC JE Exam 2024. The online registration commenced on March 28, 2024, and will continue until April 18, 2024. Successful candidates will be appointed as Junior Engineers with a salary structure equivalent to Level 6 of the pay matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

SSC JE Recruitment 2024 Salary
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an open competitive examination to recruit Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) for various Government of India organizations/offices. These posts are classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial, and fall under Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
